Job description

Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support Air National Guard F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators at Hill AFB, UT. This individual will serve as a key member of the cybersecurity team responsible for maintaining RMF compliance and supporting security authorization activities for Air Force training systems. Responsibilities include managing cybersecurity risk throughout the system lifecycle, supporting RMF package development and maintenance, conducting vulnerability assessments, reviewing ACAS/Nessus scan results, validating STIG compliance, monitoring audit activity through Splunk, and collaborating with ISSMs, FSOs, and program teams to ensure all systems remain compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements. The ISSO will also assist with cybersecurity documentation, POA&M management, system accreditation efforts, and continuous monitoring activities., * Directly supports Air National Guard F-16 training operations and mission readiness

  • Hands-on RMF and cybersecurity compliance work supporting classified defense systems
  • Opportunity to own ISSO responsibilities across multiple simulator environments
  • Strong long-term program with high visibility across Air Force cybersecurity stakeholders

Requirements

  • Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Cybersecurity experience supporting DoD programs
  • Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST, DoDI 8500.01, and cybersecurity compliance requirements
  • Experience with eMASS, security authorization packages, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as ACAS/Nessus and log analysis tools such as Splunk
  • Experience performing STIG validation and auditing system compliance against approved baselines
  • IAM Level II Certification required
  • Experience supporting Air Force or other military training systems is highly preferred
