Database Engineer

Develop, analyze, and maintain database management solutions that support database modeling, architecture, configuration management, and implementation activities. Perform data mapping, mining, and transformation to optimize storage requirements while supporting system analysis, design, and repository creation. Coordinate database implementation efforts throughout the development lifecycle., * Design database management systems

• Develop database models and relational database architectures
• Build metadata repositories and configuration management solutions
• Analyze data storage and determine optimal storage requirements
• Utilize data mapping, data mining, and data transformation tools
• Prepare system requirements, source analyses, and process analyses
• Support database implementation through design activities
• Evaluate database management system performance
• Install database management systems

• Bachelor’s degree with 6-10 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 4-8 years of experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience with Data Management, Scripting, and Siemens
• Work with PCB/CCA design throughout the electronics design lifecycle
• Utilize Siemens Xpedition and Siemens EDM
• Support electronic product lifecycle management (PLM) technology across multidisciplinary teams
• Analyze ECAD PLM processes and identify optimization opportunities within Siemens Xpedition and EDM
• Apply scripting languages such as VBScript and Python to automate software tasks
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of scripting and automating tasks using Xpedition API
• Experience creating library parts in the Siemens tool suite
• Demonstrated experience in PCB design, fabrication, or assembly for rigid and rigid-flex CCAs
• Familiarity with Zuken, Altium, or Cadence
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Circuit Design
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Electronics
