Job description

  • Provide desk-side support and PC break/fix services
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Perform desktop imaging and application installation
  • Provide smart hands support for IT and networking equipment
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and cabling issues
  • Support LAN/WAN environments and basic networking tasks
  • Manage and resolve incidents using ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy)
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem management
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting SLA requirements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software installation?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite IT infrastructure and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in hardware/software troubleshooting, desk-side support, and network fundamentals, along with excellent customer service skills., * Minimum 3+ years of IT infrastructure field support experience

  • Strong knowledge of:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP
  • Windows OS (Mac/Linux preferred)
  • Experience with:
  • Desktop imaging and application support
  • Printer and peripheral troubleshooting
  • Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Ability to handle hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with end-user network cabling issues

Smart Hands Support

  • Hands-on support for:
  • Monitors, keyboards, mice
  • Printers, scanners, fax machines
  • Routers, switches, firewalls
  • Racks, cabinets, and patch panels, * Associate Degree in Electronics or related field
  • CompTIA A+ Certification (preferred)
  • Vendor certifications (Dell, Lenovo, etc.) are a plus

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong communication and customer handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proactive, result-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, * Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs

Pay: $25.00 per hour
