Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Security Testing Practice Lead to join a fast-growing cybersecurity consultancy.

This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, shape the future of our Offensive Security services and remain hands-on with complex testing engagements, including emerging AI and LLM security testing.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll combine technical leadership, people management and client engagement to ensure exceptional service delivery while helping drive the continued growth of the practice.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and develop the Security Testing Practice.

· Own testing methodologies, tooling, reporting standards and delivery quality.

· Oversee projects from scoping through to successful delivery.

· Mentor, coach and develop the security testing team.

· Support pre-sales activities, proposals and client meetings.

· QA technical reports and deliver complex testing engagements where required.

Requirements

You’ll have:

· 5+ years’ hands-on Penetration Testing or Offensive Security experience.

· Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

· Strong technical knowledge across web applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud, mobile and wireless security testing.

· Experience with black-box, grey-box and white-box testing methodologies.

· Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OWASP, PTES and OSSTMM.

· Experience scoping, delivering and quality assuring complex security testing engagements.

· Strong communication skills with clients, stakeholders and technical teams.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

· CREST or CHECK accredited environments.

· Red Team or Purple Team engagements.

· AI and LLM security testing.

· BAS, IoT, Kubernetes or CI/CD security.

· Programming or scripting.

· Building new security services or technical thought leadership.

Certifications

We’re interested in candidates with certifications such as:

· CREST CRT/CCT

· OSCP

· OSCE / OSWE

· CISSP

· CHECK Team Leader or Team Member
