Job description

This is a hands-on IT position focused on keeping the company’s users, systems, and network running smoothly. Although the original title includes “Manager,” this is primarily an individual-contributor role and does not require previous people-management experience. It could be a strong opportunity for an experienced Tier 1 or Tier 2 professional ready to take ownership of a broader IT environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide daily Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for on-site and remote employees.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Maintain servers, network infrastructure, endpoints, software licensing, cloud platforms, and business applications.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade IT equipment and software.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and data protection.
  • Coordinate IT projects, system implementations, and technology upgrades.
  • Work with outside technology vendors and support partners.
  • Train employees on company systems, security practices, and technology procedures.
  • Help manage IT inventory, budgeting, and future technology recommendations.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Approximately five years of related hands-on IT experience.
  • Working knowledge of networks, servers, endpoints, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and business applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting both user-facing issues and broader system or infrastructure problems.
  • Ability to work on-site and support both office and production employees.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize issues based on operational needs.

Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
