Requirements

7+ years of overall experience in observability engineering and operational automation, with balanced hands-on depth across both

5+ years of hands-on experience with a combined or any of the following observability query languages: SPL, DQL, LogQL, and CWLI

4+ years of hands-on experience with designing and supporting cloud-native operational solutions in any or a combination of the following: AWS, Azure or GCP

4+ years of hands-on experience integrating enterprise platforms through REST APIs, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO-based authentication mechanisms

3+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade automation solutions using Python

3+ years of hands-on experience with event-driven and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Kafka, or similar technologies

3+ years of hands-on experience implementing AIOps capabilities, including alert correlation, anomaly detection, intelligent incident routing, predictive alerting, and automated remediation

3+ years of hands-on experience establishing observability and reliability practices, including SLIs, SLOs, alert engineering, incident response, and operational health monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as Splunk, AWS, Dynatrace, Terraform, or related cloud and observability credentials

Experience with Splunk ITSI, Splunk Machine Learning Toolkit (MLTK), service trees, glass tables, and notable-event aggregation policies

Experience using Dynatrace Davis AI, Grafana ML, AWS CloudWatch Anomaly Detection, AWS DevOps Guru, or similar AI-assisted observability capabilities

Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code platforms

Experience integrating automation with ServiceNow, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

Experience consuming and processing telemetry from APIs, OpenTelemetry, Redis, SQL, and NoSQL platforms

Experience designing enterprise observability or automation platforms used by multiple product and engineering teams

Experience supporting large-scale CCaaS platforms such as Amazon Connect, NICE CXone, or Genesys Cloud

Pay: $49.16 - $59.20 per hour

Experience:

  • observability engineering : 7 years (Preferred)

  • splunk integration: 1 year (Preferred)
