SAP Consultant (Manufacturing Costing)

Dassian is seeking a Functional Consultant to join our Manufacturing Costing practice. In this role you will implement, configure, and support our SAP-based cost management solutions for clients that run complex, project-based manufacturing. Your work will turn detailed manufacturing costing requirements into configured, compliant, and audit-ready solutions on SAP S/4HANA.

What you’ll do

• Deliver Dassian’s manufacturing costing solutions to clients, taking requirements through to a configured, compliant, audit-ready result.
• Ensure Dassian solutions integrate cleanly across SAP GPD and PMMO solutions.
• Serve as the functional expert who translates client business needs into working Dassian solutions alongside our technical teams.

• Minimum five years in Aerospace and Defense, or a related project-based or highly regulated manufacturing field such as government contracting, engineer-to-order manufacturing, shipbuilding, or complex industrial machinery.
• Minimum five years hands-on experience with SAP GPD (Grouping, Pegging and Distribution) and/or SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization).
• Proven delivery of manufacturing costing or managerial accounting solutions in an SAP functional or configuration role, including requirements, configuration, testing, and training.
• Solid understanding of project-based and engineer-to-order manufacturing cost flows and actual costing.
• Strong client-facing communication, comfortable leading requirements sessions and training end users.

Desirable

• Knowledge of the wider Dassian product suite: contract management, managerial and cost accounting, program management, and material accounting and logistics.
• Hands-on experience with Dassian PACE and/or Dassian MPIA (Manufacturing Performance Information and Analytics).
• Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense compliance and audit requirements such as FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA/DCMA.
• SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) or Controlling (CO) certification., * SAP Consulting: 5 years (Required)
