Job description

The Network Services Support Officer (NSSO) is responsible for managing and supporting local utilization of ONE-Net, ONE-Net contract products, data sharing capability, and available IT facilities to meet local IT requirements. Will also analyze, advise, implement, correct and maintain as needed to ensure IT requirements and systems are available and secure. NSSO will perform other duties as assigned by Program leadership., * Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks, and serving on safety committees and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or approximately 10 years of experience in related fields, two of which must be management experience.
  • Experience with data center environment in areas of network for voice and data, Internet infrastructure, and security.
  • Comptia Security+, Cloudn+, ISC2 SSCP, CCNP Enterprise or CertNexus
  • Must have three years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the military or a government installation
  • Must be familiar with current global, US, Program and PWS requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver’s license throughout employment in this role
  • Ability to successfully pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Able to stand for long periods of time such as eight (8) to ten (10) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies
  • Able to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds
  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
  • May work in a typical office environment
