Junior API Integration Specialist (Hotel Systems)

• Serve as the technical point of contact between our internal teams and payment providers.
• Analyze payment provider APIs and translate requirements for seamless integration.
• Support the integration process, troubleshooting technical challenges along the way.
• Optimize API documentation and create clear guidelines for internal teams.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Run transactional tests with tools like Postman to verify system connections.
• Stay updated on payment trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.

o Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Languages: o Fluent in English & Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

• Experience & Technical Skills: o 1+ years of experience with API integrations or a similar technical role. o Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, authentication protocols (OAuth, API Keys, JWT), and JSON structures. o Experience with Postman (or similar API testing tools) to validate requests, responses, and error handling. o Ability to read, interpret, and recreate API documentation in an organized, developer-friendly manner. o Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar project management tools.

• Soft Skills: o Analytical thinker with a structured problem-solving approach. o Strong communicator who can collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. o Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
