Job description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager position. The Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity operations. This role includes the design, installation, maintenance, security, and retirement of information infrastructure and security systems. Key responsibilities include managing projects to develop internal controls, refine operations, enhance security, and apply cutting-edge technology to increase profitability. The manager ensures that IT services consistently meet or exceed corporate standards. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage computer resources (servers, storage, software, networks) to achieve optimal levels of performance and uptime while staying within budget
- Ensure data center, cloud operations and staff are aligned to support strategic needs of the company while utilizing new technology wisely
- Provide guidance on new technology investments and ensure approved investments are integrated seamlessly into the organization
- Develop security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices
- Maintain awareness of new cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to keep the organization secure
- Conduct risk assessments with a vendor to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Monitor network activity to identify signs of intrusion or compromise
- Provide technical support for computer networks, including firewalls, operating systems and applications, patch management, and data security best practices
- Conduct audits to ensure security protocols are being followed by staff
- Coordinate I.T. efforts across multiple departments, branch stores, and geography
- Must be aware of the strategic direction of the organization as well as new technologies on the horizon
- Manage hardware assets to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands
- Analyze and predict trends and develop long range plans designed to maintain cost effectiveness
- Develop the reporting for vendor performance in areas that include quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness
- Work closely with project team members for time allocation and prioritization
- Ensure corporate computer policies and procedures are maintained and enforced
- Communicate and enforce all company policies, procedures and safety rules
- Lead, train, develop and motivate department’s employees
- Prioritize and delegate job tasks to staff to ensure timely completion
- Follow Safe work practices in performance of all duties and follow the company’s safety policies daily
- Stay informed of and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field
- OR any combination of education, training, and experience that provides equivalent necessary to perform the essential functions of the position with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience required without a degree
- Ability to adapt to and manage changing priorities
- Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to make decisions using good judgement
- Ability to effectively manage staff
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to understand and apply advanced technical concepts
- Ability to work in frequently high stress situations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Valid driver’s license
