Job description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise DevOps platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native environments while collaborating with development, operations, security, and infrastructure teams. This role requires expertise in AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, automation, observability, and DevSecOps best practices. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise DevOps architecture for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Pulumi.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes clusters using EKS, AKS, GKE, or OpenShift.
  • Develop containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for enterprise applications.
  • Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
  • Design cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Design enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Develop centralized logging, alerting, and incident management strategies.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve deployment efficiency and application reliability.
  • Optimize cloud costs, resource utilization, and infrastructure performance.
  • Implement networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, API gateways, and cloud security best practices.
  • Architect backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring for DevOps engineers.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and deployment guides.
  • Support Agile/Scrum delivery teams and participate in release planning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years as a DevOps Architect or Senior DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise DevOps platforms.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Pulumi.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
  • Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Linux administration and cloud networking.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps security practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking, IAM, RBAC, SSL, VPN, Load Balancers, and DNS.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
