Firmware Software Engineering

Job description

Vienna, Vienna, 1220 EUR 3800-5000 per month NEU

Keep the production floor moving, and the team behind it strong.

We build award-winning smart glasses in Vienna: hardware, firmware, software, all under one roof. At the end of every development cycle, someone has to make sure the product actually gets built - precisely, reliably, and on time. That’s you. You’ll join a hands-on assembly team, own the production floor, and be the person who keeps everything flowing from first component to finished device.

This isn’t a desk job with occasional floor visits. You’re in it, every day, side by side with your team.

Tasks

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform daily assembly line operations: hands-on, present, and accountable
  • Ensure production schedules are met without compromising quality or safety
  • Support and share knowledge with fellow assembly team members where needed
  • Maintain quality control standards throughout the entire assembly process
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols and procedures
  • Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics to keep workflows smooth and efficient
  • Identify bottlenecks, resolve disruptions fast, and drive continuous process improvements
  • Monitor and report on production performance, you know your numbers
  • Manage inventory and supplies for the assembly line

Requirements

  • A degree or technical education in engineering, electronics, manufacturing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a structured manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Strong understanding of assembly line processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
  • A natural problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and acts decisively
  • Excellent communication skills: you can give clear direction and build trust at the same time
  • Solid organisational skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Fluent English; German is welcome

Benefits & conditions

What’s extra?

  • Salary: €3.800 - €5.000 gross/month depending on experience
  • Yearly public transport card (Vienna)
  • Dog-friendly offices
  • “Inspire Days” - time to learn and recharge
  • A front-row seat to how a deep-tech hardware product gets built, from PCB to shipped device
  • Small, international team where your impact is visible every day

Ready to join the team that brings smart glasses to life?

We can’t wait to meet you.
