Job description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a real impact in a global organization? As a Global IT Security Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting and strengthening our cybersecurity posture. You will work across security operations, vulnerability management, compliance, and user awareness initiatives in an international environment., * You monitor, triage, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents using tools such as Microsoft Defender and Taegis.

  • You coordinate vulnerability management and patching activities, including remediation tracking and risk-based prioritization.
  • You Support system and environment hardening by maintaining secure configuration standards.
  • You contribute to cybersecurity aspects of business continuity, disaster recovery and incident recovery planning.
  • You Support the administration and continuous improvement of endpoint, email, network and cloud security controls.
  • You participate in digital transformation initiatives to ensure security requirements are incorporated, including support for DLP controls.
  • You administer and optimize security tools (e.g., Taegis XDR, Microsoft Defender, Zscaler).
  • You manage the security awareness program, including training campaigns and phishing simulations (KnowBe4).
  • You maintain and update security policies, procedures, and standards; support compliance activities (e.g., NIS2).
  • You coordinate internal/external audits, risk assessments, and penetration tests; track and support remediation.
  • You assist in the development and ongoing improvement of the cybersecurity risk management program.
  • You maintain security documentation, metrics, and reports for management and audit purposes.
  • You support identity and access security processes (e.g., access reviews, MFA controls).

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT security, cybersecurity operations, or infrastructure security.
  • You have proven hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • You have experience working with modern security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, XDR platforms) in a Microsoft-centric or hybrid environment.
  • You have familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Certifications (e.g., Security+, Microsoft security certifications, CISSP, CISM) are considered an asset.
  • You have strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership in a lean IT environment.

  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including international travel, as required.
