Junior Software Engineer

As a junior software engineer at Cleopatra Enterprise, you will be primarily responsible for the development of our software, Cleopatra Enterprise, used by some of the largest companies in the world operating in various industries. As a software developer, you are constantly meeting the clients needs in the development of our software. We are constantly working on big projects, such as the development of new modules from scratch to further support our clients in their projects.

0-2 years of experience Bachelor or MSc degree in Computer Science Proficient in Java, Congratulations, you have a computer science degree! This will entitle you to high quality coffee that will last a lifetime. • 0-3 years of experience in software engineering
• You like working in Java
• You are familiar with SCRUM
• You like complex puzzles alongside good coffee (don’t worry tea people, we like you too)
• You are driven & passionate about everything related to software

You’ll be working with various software technologies and tool, such as:

• Java
• Webservices
• Spring technologies
• Container technologies
• Web development & REST API

€ 3000,- (Bsc) € 3250,- (MSc) 40 hours per week 29,5 holidays

Being a member of the developer team at Cleopatra Enterprise means you have a vital position in the company. Working in small scrum teams of four to eight people, you be working on a feature set clearly outlined by our product owner and business analysts. Everything you develop will be used by internal staff and external clients from all over the world.

During your daily work, you’ll face complex puzzles and dilemmas. As you are continuously involved with the development of the product, you can really start deep diving into everything and finally fix that bug that has been there for so long. Since you are a fresh graduate, code reviews are key in learning quickly. All code is reviewed by at least one developer and tested by QA specialists.
