IT Global Systems Engineer

Be on the front line by being responsible for globally supporting the company’s server and systems infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

• Support and maintain existing platforms through proactive and reactive maintenance
• Investigate solution improvements and new projects
• Implement changes as directed
• Work on projects alone and as part of a wider team
• Follow documented processes, and create documents for new ones
• Monitor performance of applications and servers
• Work with users to understand problems

• This role will be working shifts that are 9am to 5pm, 5pm to 1am CET

• Experience in an extensive range of technologies including Microsoft Windows (Server 2016, 2019), Active Directory(2016), VMware (5.0 and higher), HyperV
• Additionally in Linux, scripting, SQL, IIS, Web proxy/filtering system (Squid, ISA, or cloud based solutions), Antivirus Systems, PCI, IT Security standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO27001 etc., GPO, DNS, DHCP, networking, storage devices (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, Fiber channel, Synology, RAID) , Cloud computing and more
• Intensive and proven troubleshooting skills
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 7 years equivalent work experience
• Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency
• Highly self-motivated
• Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken)
• Experience gained working in a Call Centre / BPO or similarly high pressure and results driven environment
