Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Specialist to support the adoption and continuous improvement of our infrastructure technologies while maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture. This role is key to ensuring the availability, performance, and protection of our systems, working closely with the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Manager and the broader ICSO team. The scope of this position also includes supporting the design, integration, and delivery of new systems and platforms being introduced as part of the company’s strategic expansion plan and technology adoption roadmap. Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain next-generation on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of technical cybersecurity controls and policies in alignment with modern IT environments.
• Working closely with IT Operations in monitoring infrastructure and security platforms, leveraging advanced tools such as Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.
• Collaborate with the SOC on proactive threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management using up-to-date methodologies.
• Contribute to the deployment and hardening of secure access controls, modern backup strategies, and next-gen endpoint protection technologies.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging threats, innovations, and best practices to drive the modernization and resilience of IT infrastructure and security posture.
• Support the provisioning, automation, and configuration of cloud-native resources in Azure with focus on zero-trust principles.
• Actively participate in the rollout and integration of new infrastructure solutions and cloud services aligned with the company’s digital transformation strategy.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to stakeholders and internal teams in the adoption of new platforms and cybersecurity measures. Dein Profil

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in operating IT infrastructure and supporting cybersecurity initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Azure service catalog, with a focus on Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and modern workplace frameworks, including application lifecycle management, patch management, endpoint protection, policy enforcement, and Autopilot deployment.
• Familiarity with AWS environments and core cloud services.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-500, CompTIA Security+, or similar) are a plus.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki technologies, including network management, wireless infrastructure, and security. Certification in Cisco Meraki or equivalent knowledge is highly valued.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
