Data Cabling Engineer

Bauhaus Recruitment is looking to connect with experienced Data Cabling Engineers, subcontractors and contracting teams for a growing pipeline of projects across Glasgow and throughout Scotland.

We are recruiting for short-term, long-term and project-based assignments across a variety of environments, including:

• Stadiums and sports centres
• Commercial offices and buildings
• Supermarkets and retail stores
• Data centres and communications rooms
• New installations, upgrades and refurbishments

Typical duties may include installing, terminating and testing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling, cabinet work, containment, labelling, Wi-Fi access points and general structured cabling installations.

• Previous data cabling experience
• CSCS or ECS card
• Own tools and transport
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• IPAF, testing or fibre experience would be advantageous
