Job description

I’m currently partnering with an exciting, fast-growing organisation in the financial services sector that is looking to appoint a Data Analyst to join their Analytics team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, business-critical programme where you’ll use data to support regulatory reporting, operational decision-making and customer outcomes. Reporting into senior analytics leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely insights across a fast-paced environment., As a Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing SQL-based data processes, producing high-quality data extracts, and supporting regulatory reporting requirements. You’ll work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and deliver meaningful management information., * Develop, maintain and optimise SQL queries to support business and regulatory requirements.

  • Produce accurate data extracts for operational, legal and customer-focused teams.
  • Maintain data sets and customer segmentation used across key business programmes.
  • Deliver regulatory reporting and management information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Support reporting for operational workflows and provide analysis where required.
  • Ensure robust data quality, auditability and version control across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience writing SQL queries.
  • Previous experience working as a Data Analyst in a data-driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting reporting, operational analysis or regulatory projects would be highly advantageous.
