Job description

Phoenix Staff is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing technology organization focused on enhancing and expanding a cloud-based software platform. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of business-critical applications while collaborating with technical leadership on architecture, product enhancements, and long-term platform strategy. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Microsoft technologies, cloud-based application development, and modern software engineering practices. This individual will play a key role in building scalable solutions, improving system performance, and supporting the continued evolution of a mission-critical platform., * Design, develop, and support full-stack software solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies and cloud-based services.

  • Create and maintain scalable backend components, APIs, and distributed application services.
  • Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces that deliver a seamless end-user experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, architectural planning, and engineering standards initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve application issues while identifying opportunities for optimization and reliability improvements.
  • Support ongoing enhancements to platform performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment that emphasizes accountability, quality, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development or software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
  • Experience designing and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful services and enterprise applications.
  • Front-end development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
  • Experience working with SQL Server and relational database concepts.
  • Understanding of software architecture principles, cloud computing concepts, and application security practices.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a dynamic environment with changing priorities and business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams., * Experience supporting software solutions within highly regulated business environments.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications or related cloud credentials.
  • Exposure to automated deployment processes, infrastructure automation, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience contributing to cloud-based subscription software platforms.
  • Familiarity with scalable application design and cloud-native development approaches.
