Optometric Technician and Front desk

• Perform preliminary triage, including taking patient histories and measuring visual acuity.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual field testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record system.
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
• Ensure the equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team. In this role, we need a person who will assist optometrists by asking the patients a general history, determine their visual acuity(asking the patient to read the smallest line they can on the eye chart), and performing tests such as pupil reactions and other preliminary tests. We do NOT require prior experience, we are willing to train anyone who is responsible and detail oriented. The person we hire will also be responsible for various clinical and administrative tasks such as filing and answering the phone to make appointments. Our goal is always to ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice while delivering exceptional patient experiences. The is the idea job for someone wishing to enter into health care without any experience!, * The ability to speak well, communicate in a kind way to the elderly as well as other patients.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting or front desk operations is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and not use profanity. We run a friendly , kind environment and desire to help people see more clearly and treat glaucoma and other diseases.
