Job description

As an IT Application Manager, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving global application management processes, ensuring a secure, efficient, and standardized application landscape across the organization.

Define and implement global Application Management processes, including Lifecycle Management and Patch Management.

Develop policies and standards for secure application operations.

Coordinate the creation of operational and security concept templates.

Advise business departments on operational, security, and compliance requirements.

Harmonize the company’s application landscape.

Manage approval processes for new software solutions while considering functional and security requirements.

Act as the central point of coordination between business units, Cyber Security, and external IT service providers.

Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvements to increase system resilience and performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent qualification.

Several years of experience in Application Management or IT Process Management.

At least 3 years of professional experience.

Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework.

Experience designing governance structures and managing IT processes.

Experience coordinating external IT service providers.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex application environments and understand system dependencies.

Confident communication skills to present governance and security topics to stakeholders at all levels.

German language proficiency at C1 level.
