Job description

As the central expert for robotron eSales, you will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors to maintain high availability, optimize processes, and drive digital excellence., Application Ownership & Operations

  • Serve as the primary application expert and strategic product owner for Robotron eSales, driving the product vision and roadmap
  • Ensure stable, secure, and reliable daily operation of the solution, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and integrations in line with IT standards

Business Support & Enhancement

  • Act as the key interface between business and technical teams
  • Analyze business requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and translate them into technical specifications or user stories
  • Manage enhancements, configurations, and system optimizations to support evolving business needs and maximize business value

Project & Vendor Management

  • Lead or contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives leveraging Robotron eSales
  • Take ownership of vendor management by effectively managing relationships with Robotron and other external service providers to ensure SLA fulfillment and timely feature delivery
  • Support implementation projects, testing, and release cycles

Quality, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data quality, system documentation, and audit readiness
  • Promote adherence to IT security, data protection, and compliance standards

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Application Manager for our EDM system eSales from Robotron. In this role, you will enable the business to use the EDM system efficiently, as well as manage the whole application and it’s interfaces., * Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Several years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Application Manager specifically with Robotron eSalesGood understanding of German and/or European energy market processes (e.g., billing, EDM, market communication)
  • Hands-on knowledge of: *

  • SQL databases
  • Interfaces/API concepts (EDIFACT, AS4, REST)
  • Application lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive, customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively align with business leaders and external vendors
  • German mother tongue, fluent in English
