Job description
The HR Operations Specialist supports the entire employee lifecycle by handling processes concerning recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, salary changes, promotions, compliance, reporting and HRIS administration. Responsibilities also include supporting the proper operation of payroll in cooperation with the payroll team. As an HR Operations Specialist you act as an ambassador to the BDA culture and help to foster a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
To be successful as an HR Operations Specialist, you must have a deep interest in understanding technology, problem solving and have a passion for organization and process efficiency. You will work with both internal and external clients and candidates and must possess great communication skills and the ability to pivot at a momentâs notice to meet the clientsâ needs., Onboarding
- Coordinates global onboarding activities for all new hires that includes employment documentation, background checks, I-9s, and new hire correspondence
- Creates complete new hire employment files in databases
- Coordinates with internal teams to ensure equipment and access points are set up prior to employeeâs first day
ATS/HRIS Administration
- Creates user accounts, managing access, and updating employee information on HRIS
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ATS/Onboarding/HRIS users.
- Collaborates with HR team to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Conducts regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of all personnel data, including Employment Agreements, compensation, and employment contracts
- Completes accurate data entry for payroll administration
- Processes terminations through HRIS and coordinates with IT for access shutdown and asset recovery
Other Duties
- Runs regular reports to aid in data analytics, forecasting and trends, including weekly personnel updates
- Other HR projects and/or duties assigned, This is a high-impact HR role supporting systems and processes that touch every employee across the organization. Youâll be part of a highly connected, collaborative team led by a hands-on manager who is trusted, supportive, and willing to jump in alongside the team.
This role is especially exciting for someone who takes pride in data accuracy, process improvement, and creating a better employee experience from hire through the full employee lifecycle. Youâll also have the opportunity to contribute to a highly anticipated Workday implementation - a major company-wide initiative that will help modernize and strengthen how HR supports the business.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Data entry?, Do you have a Bachelorâs degree?, * 2+ years of experience in HR Administration
- Bachelorâs degree in HR Management or Business Administration

Must have proven experience working in Workday *
- Additional Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Applicant Tracking and Onboarding System experience preferred (Greenhouse/EMP Trust)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in data input

- Dental insurance, We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. Location:
- This role is based in either Troy, MI / Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX and requires you to work onsite 4 days per week, with 1 day remote.
- To be considered, you must live within commuting distance, as regular in-person collaboration is a key part of the role.
