Job description

As an engineer at Tilta, you will work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to design, build, and evolve scalable financial products. You’ll take ownership of features from idea to production while helping create developer-friendly APIs and seamless user experiences for the next generation of financial services., * Own new features end-to-end, from technical design to production.

  • Build and evolve backend services powering the next generation of financial products.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to solve real customer problems.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Help shape our services, APIs, and development processes as part of an agile product team.
  • Work primarily with Node.js (Fastify), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, while contributing across the stack when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant in developing SaaS products
  • You are fluent in TypeScript and Node.js and enjoy building scalable backend services.
  • Experience with React is a plus - you are comfortable contributing across the stack when needed.
  • You have solid object-oriented programming skills and a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
  • You have experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with external services.
  • You enjoy taking ownership of features from discovery and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • You are comfortable working in distributed systems and microservice-based architectures.
  • You use CI/CD practices to deliver value to customers quickly and reliably.
  • You use AI tools thoughtfully to improve your productivity while validating solutions with your own engineering judgement.
  • You are curious, pragmatic, and enjoy learning new technologies, languages, and frameworks.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
