Huawei’s Heisenberg Research Center in Munich is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products. In the Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies in multiple domains. Join Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) as: Engineer (18-Month Leased Labor) - Model-based Design (MBD) (m/f/d) Your mission Use Octave and similar state-of-the-art tools and programming languages to develop mathematical models and algorithms in the field of ADAS/ADS including simulations Implement mathematical models and algorithms in the field of ADAS/ADS. Perform dynamic simulations and explore model parameter stability and controllability. Conduct data pre- and post-processing for model simulation and validation. Execute batch simulations and evaluate the results i.r.t. safety and safe vehicle behavior. Your areas of expertise

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Profound knowledge and proficient skills in model-based design (MBD) tools and programming languages, e.g., Octave or similar tools. Proficient in systems modeling, numerical methods, control theory, linear algebra.Experience in ADAS function development or related automotive functions, vehicle dynamics and control. Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to integrate into a high-performance team. Proficiency in English. German and/or Chinese knowledge are an advantage.
