Job description
The EMS Account Coordinator will assist the EMS Account Manager in managing the assigned accounts and will collaborate
with the external service partners, internal Building Automation Systems, and Technical Support teams to effectively serve
our customers.
Job functions and duties
- Have a sense of ownership of the assigned account ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.
- Follow-up on work orders ensuring the work is completed within customer’s Service Level Agreements.
- Oversee and coordinate repairs to customers’ EMS/HVAC systems to ensure that repairs are carried out effectively and in
a timely manner.
- Oversee and have ownership of customer’s call flow(s), reports, projects, and alarm processing.
- Manage quotes - including requesting service partners, reviewing, and submitting to the customers
- Handle any customer complaints promptly and in a professional manner.
- Ensure customers’ work order management systems are updated per customer’s expectations.
- Review On-Hold billing reports and assist in resolving any issues with customers or service partners.
- Perform remote commissioning of customer’s EMS as required.
- Maintain operational guidelines for handling energy usage and variance interaction with Customer’s EMS.
- Assist in customer business review preparation or discussion as requested by the manager.
- As applicable, maintain an accurate database of customer’s equipment.
- Be the technical escalation point to internal/external customers.
- Provide process and technical training to the Customer Care Team (as needed)
- Limited travel may come up, including overnight; flexibility to take evening and weekend telephone calls, performing the essential functions of an EMS Account Coordinator for Strategic Accounts in Indianapolis. This is a hybrid
position, which will include working from your home office and days when you will work in a workstation in a professional
office environment.

Requirements
- Knowledge of building automation systems and basic HVAC
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills with a sense of urgency
- Post-high school education is preferred but not required
- Professional appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills, achievement-oriented, self-motivated, and organized
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, resolve conflict, and time management
- Training others and problem solving
- Calculate and work with figures
- Excellent data management skills, including good working knowledge of Excel. PowerPoint is a plus.
