We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in building and supporting cloud-native and AI-driven applications. This role focuses on working with Azure services, improving reliability, and supporting production environments with strong exposure to identity, observability, and cloud operations., Azure Cloud & AI Workloads:
- Deploy, manage, and support Azure services including:
- Azure Container Apps, Azure Cosmos DB, Storage, and App Services
- Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, and related AI/ML services
- Support development and operations of cloud-native applications across environments
Identity & Access Management:
- Implement and manage access using:
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Managed Identity and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Enable secure, identity-based communication between services
Observability & Incident Management:
- Monitor applications using:
- Application Insights and Log Analytics
- Alerts and anomaly detection mechanisms
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and document runbooks and learnings
Cloud Operations & Reliability:
- Support production systems by resolving incidents and improving system stability
- Optimize workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform reliability
Networking & Connectivity:
- Work with Azure networking fundamentals:
- VNets, Subnets, DNS
- Private connectivity concepts (Private Endpoints / Private Link - good to have)
- Ensure stable connectivity between services and environments
Requirements
- 2-4 years of overall software engineering experience
- At least 1+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in production environments
- Experience working with cloud-native or AI-based applications is preferred, * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, and AI services)
- Experience with container-based deployments (Docker / Container Apps)
Familiarity with:
- Managed Identity, Entra ID, RBAC
- Monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics)
- Experience in production support, incident triage, and troubleshooting
- Programming experience in Python, Java, or Node.js
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI/LLM applications (OpenAI, RAG, AI workflows)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of microservices or event-driven architecture
- Basic understanding of data privacy and compliance practices
