Job description

Aspetto is seeking a SARSAT Program Security Plan Support Manager to serve as Key Personnel supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. This position will support security planning, risk management, documentation, and interagency coordination for the national SARSAT and international Cospas-Sarsat systems., * Maintain and update the SARSAT Program Security Plan.

  • Manage the program Risk Registry, including risk impacts, probability, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate security-planning input from NOAA, NASA, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Coast Guard, and other agencies.
  • Develop cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses for security risks and emerging requirements.
  • Support security assessments, threat evaluations, program plans, schedules, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with DHS, DoD, NASA, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, and other stakeholders.
  • Support classified programs and security documentation.
  • Maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for sensitive information.
  • Remain available during core hours and respond to Government notifications within four hours.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in program security, emergency management, incident management, or a related field.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with security planning and risk assessments.
  • Experience with federal security policy and compliance.
  • Experience coordinating with federal agencies or classified programs.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar certification.
  • Experience with satellite, space, or search-and-rescue systems.
  • Experience supporting USCG, DHS, NASA, NOAA, USAF, or U.S. Space Force.
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements, NISP requirements, or Program Protection Plans.
