Analytics and Insights Engineer II

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance., As an Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the Momentum Financials Software Support team, you will be responsible for:

• Provide end-user support for functional issues within Momentum Financials and associated financial processes
• Intake, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user inquiries, incidents, and system issues
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams and track them through resolution
• Create and maintain functional specification documentation and support application testing activities
• Support financial reporting, accounting, and system-related process improvement efforts

• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product, * Bachelor’s degree
• Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph
• Required Security+ certification
• 2+ years of experience with financial and management reporting and financial accounting
• 1+ years of experience with cloud accounting systems and application testing
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA 100% of the time
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Experience with business intelligence reporting
• Certified Help Desk Manager certification
• Experience supporting financial close activities

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
