Sr Software Developer / Consultant - OneStream platform

As a technical leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable OneStream solutions while mentoring developers, functionals, users, and promoting best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technologies and help modernize financial systems through innovative software solutions., * Design, develop, migrate, and maintain a complex OneStream solution, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, validation, deployment, and production support.

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that promote scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain business rules, integrations, and custom solutions using SQL, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Mentor developers, functionals, and client to provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle and OneStream implemention.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement enhancements, and support ongoing system stability and performance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer / Consultant specializing in the OneStream platform to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement scalable financial management solutions that enhance reporting, financial consolidation, planning, and data integration for our Department of Defense (DoD) client., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing applications using SQL, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, and related technologies.
• Strong experience implementing, configuring, and supporting OneStream solutions, including financial consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) processes.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience building extensible platforms, reusable frameworks, components, or SDKs.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development; Azure certification(s) preferred.
• Familiarity with SaaS architectures, distributed systems, and multi-tenant applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, DevOps practices, and application security.
• Experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Corporate Performance Management (CPM), or other financial management solutions.
• Experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or other federal government financial systems preferred.

• Strong software engineering, system design, and application architecture expertise.
• Proven ability to mentor developers, clients, and provide technical leadership on complex OneStream implementations.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ability to balance business priorities with long-term scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and responsibly use AI-assisted development tools while applying sound engineering judgment and validating outputs to ensure quality, security, and reliability.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment supporting mission-critical financial systems.
