Lead Software Developer

AutoBoost is a niche digital marketing agency focused on growing independent auto repair and collision shops. We don’t sell theory; we bring real shop experience into marketing that drives measurable results. No fluff, no shortcuts.

As we grow, we need someone who can support our growth in software as we take on new projects, including data integrations, business accelerators, and entirely new marketing tools. We expect this person to lead a small team of developers on new software products.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to determine features and updates to software projects and set timeline expectations
• Manage the team’s developer ceremonies (e.g. Scrum) to track and streamline the development team’s workflow and workload
• Uphold standards to ensure the team maintains clean, organized, scalable, and well-documented code
• Manage a small team of developers working together
• Decide on the key software design and infrastructure for a new product
• Thoughtfully prioritize development goals to enhance the quality and efficiency of our software development
• Review team and employee performance and make staffing recommendations
• Assess and navigate risks in the software development roadmap, * Based on the job description and reviewing our company website, the services we offer, and the business type we specialize in, what do you believe are the key responsibilities of this position, and how do your skills and experiences make you the ideal candidate?

• Software is a rapidly evolving field. How do you stay updated with the latest trends and technologies, and how have you applied new knowledge in your previous roles?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent education or experience
• 4+ years of experience in a software development position
• Experience managing other developers on the same project
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple moving parts
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and systems
• AI-integrated task execution and process improvement
