Hardware Setup Technician

PRISM Inc. is seeking a Hardware Setup Technician to support a Federal client. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical setup and assembly of various hardware components., Physical Deployment: Unbox new IT equipment, assist with positioning, and connect cables (power, network, display). Decommissioning: Unplug, disconnect, and safely stage outdated equipment for cycle-out. Team Collaboration: Work in small, coordinated 3-person teams visiting approximately 5 sites per day. Follow Direction: Take guidance directly from an onsite Team Lead who will manage all software, network configurations, and technical setups.

Must be based in Washington, D.C., or have direct, reliable access to the Metro line for daily commuting to Capitol Hill. Professionalism: Punctual, presentable, and capable of working quietly and respectfully in high-profile government offices. Must be able to pass a basic Capitol Police background check Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry computer hardware, bend/reach under desks, and stay on your feet throughout standard shifts. No Technical Background required
