Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our IT operations and support the organization’s technology initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and day-to-day technology operations while partnering with leadership to ensure technology supports business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT leadership, infrastructure, business systems, project management, and team development. This is a hybrid position based in the Trenton, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization’s IT operations, infrastructure, and technology support functions.
- Oversee network, server, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise business systems.
- Manage ERP and other business applications, including system enhancements and integrations.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of technology systems.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, security practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Lead technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, technology budgets, and IT assets.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and implement technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
- Monitor IT performance, service levels, and operational metrics.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop members of the IT team.
- Provide responsive support to internal users and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent are preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and business applications.
- Experience leading technology projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- ERP experience (NetSuite is preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and modern IT environments.
- Strong budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning experience is a plus.
