Data Center Logistics Technician - Onsite

We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Technician to support a large-scale data center deployment in Columbus, OH. This role is critical to keeping the install team moving you’re the person making sure the right equipment is in the right place at the right time. You’ll work directly under the Field Foreman and coordinate closely with a technician crew executing a high-volume installation.

Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and log all inbound shipments including servers, network gear, PDUs, fiber cables, and optics Maintain accurate inventory records and track material consumption throughout the project Stage and position equipment for install teams by rack/row to minimize downtime between tasks Coordinate with the Foreman on daily material needs and flag any shortages or discrepancies immediately Manage cable and component organization in staging areas; ensure pre-bundled fiber runs are accounted for and accessible Support the return or quarantine of damaged, incorrect, or excess materials Assist with general site logistics including tool management, workspace organization, and end-of-day cleanup Document and report any receiving discrepancies against purchase orders or packing slips

Prior experience in a data center, warehouse, or logistics support role Comfortable working in an active data center environment raised floor, live equipment, safety protocols Strong attention to detail; ability to track high volumes of SKUs and serial numbers accurately Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move for extended periods Reliable, self-directed, and able to keep up with a fast-paced install schedule Basic familiarity with data center hardware (servers, switches, PDUs, fiber) preferred Background check and drug screen required prior to mobilization
