Job description

  • NOC Experience Required
  • Med Management Experience preferred
  • Experience with KIPU, Microsoft Office / Excel/ Teams, etc. preferred
  • Maintain Respect and Compassion with clients and staff at all times
  • Support coverage for Ohana’s second location as needed
  • Remain emotionally regulated and professional with staff and clients at all times
  • Shift management with client med-pass, breathalyzing (BA), and urinary analysis (UA)
  • Print, create and prepare client scheduled UA’s for the following day
  • Provide conflict resolution, safety, and maintain calm redirection in high stress moments
  • Listen to and support clients, while redirecting to connect with their treatment team when applicable
  • Strong communication with clients and staff
  • Relate professionally, ethically, and compassionately to clients, peers, and staff at all times
  • If workload with Med Management permits, offer assistance with other shifts with intakes, discharges, uploading paperwork
  • Relaying accurate and appropriate information via Outlook, Shift Notes, Teams
  • Provide assistance with administrative and housing staff in the supervision of residents
  • Enforcement on structure and client regulated obligations (house rules, etc.)
  • Monitors the needs and behaviors of residents
  • Shift notes on client behavior, incident reports and warning signs
  • Maintains current and valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • Ability to drive work van in the case of an emergency (such as resident’s requiring urgent medical attention, etc.)
  • Documenting any client activities throughout the shift
  • Maintains house cleanliness and upkeep and enforces this with clients
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings, if able
  • Coordinate and encourage client engagement and attendance
  • Participates in the development of quality improvement projects
  • HIPAA compliant
  • Helpful and adaptive with assistance in all staff departments
  • Serve as a point of de-escalation for both client and team relations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Provide a mentorship to clients to create an environment of growth
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and secure environment for both clients and staff

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Associates or Bachelors degree in psychology, sociology, or other social services degree
  • ·Preferred 2 years experience in the behavioral health field
  • ·Preferred current CPR & First Aid Certification
  • ·Experience, knowledge, or interest in chemical dependency and abuse in mental health
  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity
