About ChatSlide ChatSlide (Dr. Lambda Inc.) is an AI content-creation platform used by 240,000+ registered creators, including professionals at major hospital systems and government agencies. We turn documents, data, and ideas into presentation decks, videos, and voiceovers in minutes. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA and is expanding its U.S. engineering team, starting with this Seattle role. The Role You will be the first hire of our expansion team and own core product systems end to end, from the AI generation pipeline to the user-facing editor, working directly with the founding team to ship features used by hundreds of thousands of creators. What You’ll Do - Design, build, and scale ChatSlide’s AI content generation pipeline and backend services - Ship user-facing features across the Next.js frontend and Python backend - Improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across AWS and GCP infrastructure - Integrate and evaluate state-of-the-art AI models for

slides, video, and voice generation - Set engineering standards through code review, testing, and mentorship as the team grows What We’re Looking For - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript - Production experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) - Experience building with LLMs or other generative AI systems is a plus - Strong product sense and ability to work autonomously in a small team Compensation & Benefits - $140,000 to $160,000/year plus equity options - Flexible work arrangements - Professional development budget
