IDS tailors solutions for a diverse range of government, military, nonprofit, and public-sector clients., Please note, candidates must be flexible. Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements., IDS is seeking a System Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and security of mission systems and network environments. The selected candidate will support server administration, virtualization platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and Joint/Army Mission Command systems in support of operational requirements., * Perform system administration activities.

Support network and operating system hardening.

Manage virtualization technologies and virtual machines.

Monitor and optimize system performance.

Utilize system/server diagnostic tools and perform fault identification.

Support Joint/Army Mission Command systems.
Requirements
-
Secret clearance.
-
Associate degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field or equivalent military training.

Current certification that meets the requirements for the DCWF System Administrator (451) at the Basic proficiency level.

Acceptable certifications include Security+ CE or CySA+.

Demonstrated knowledge of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques.

Demonstrated knowledge of file system implementations (NTFS, FAT, EXT).

Demonstrated knowledge of IT security principles and methods (firewalls, DMZs, encryption).

Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

Demonstrated knowledge of operating system command line/prompt.

Demonstrated knowledge of system/server diagnostic tools and fault identification.

Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization technologies and virtual machine management.

Demonstrated knowledge of system performance monitoring and optimization.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, VMware (vCenter), and SharePoint administration.

Experience with Joint/Army Mission Command systems (e.g., TAK, CPCE, SOF MC).

Experience with ACAS, Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS), Trellix, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, and other DoD security tools., Do you have an Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent military training?* Do you currently hold Security+ CE, CySA+, or another certification meeting DCWF System Administrator (451) requirements?* Do you have in-depth experience with Microsoft Server environments, VMware (vCenter), and SharePoint administration?* Do you have experience with Joint/Army Mission Command systems and DoD security tools (ACAS, AESS, Trellix, Microsoft Defender Endpoint)?* The following questions are entirely optional.
