Job description
This position focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers to support the expansion and optimization of a national provider network. The role involves working directly with physicians, medical groups, and facilities to structure agreements that align with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and value-based care principles. Success in this role requires analytical thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster lasting professional partnerships., * Engage healthcare providers through direct outreach and targeted initiatives to explore participation in the organization’s provider network.
- Lead discussions around participation terms, reimbursement methodologies, and contractual expectations while ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee contracting activities within designated regions or specialized initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Evaluate financial and performance data to support competitive and compliant agreement structures.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to assemble, review, and finalize contracting materials.
- Track progress, documentation, and milestones using internal systems and reporting tools.
- Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with providers to support long-term collaboration and network stability.
- Support resolution of provider or client inquiries related to agreements or participation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, healthcare administration, communications, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in healthcare contracting, provider engagement, network development, or a related managed care environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
