Software Release Manager

We are seeking an experienced SW Release Manager / Scrum Master to lead software release planning and Agile delivery across multiple development teams. This role is responsible for coordinating releases, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving continuous improvement in Agile and DevSecOps environments., * Develop and manage release plans, schedules, dependencies, and deployment activities

• Coordinate release readiness, testing, implementation, and Go/No-Go reviews
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
• Remove impediments, manage delivery risks, and promote continuous improvement
• Support Program Increment (PI) Planning and release forecasting
• Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, testers, security, and operations teams
• Track release metrics, sprint velocity, and Agile performance indicators
• Prepare executive status reports, release dashboards, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with configuration management, cybersecurity, and change management processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years supporting software development programs
• 5+ years of Release Management experience in Agile environments
• 5+ years serving as a Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced CSM, or CSP required, * Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies
• Release Management across multiple Scrum teams
• DevSecOps and CI/CD environments
• Jira, Confluence, and Agile lifecycle management tools
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or PMP certification
• Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms
• Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, or containerized deployments
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
• Experience leading scaled Agile and multi-team release management efforts
