UI Designer - AI Neobank App (Austria)

We are looking for a UI Designer to craft intuitive, elegant and high-performing interfaces for BJAK’s AI and financial products.

This role is for someone who obsesses over visual quality, interaction details and usability. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to design mobile-first experiences that make complex financial products feel simple, trustworthy and enjoyable to use., * Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments and other financial services.

• Maintain and evolve BJAK’s design system to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementation.
• Iterate designs using user feedback, analytics and usability testing.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness and visual consistency across different devices and platforms.
• Contribute to improving overall product usability, interaction patterns and visual language., * Designs interfaces that reduce friction and build user trust.
• Works closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Moves quickly while maintaining a high standard of visual quality.
• Takes ownership of problems instead of waiting for detailed instructions.

• 2-5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design and UI craftsmanship.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping and modern design workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles, platform guidelines (iOS & Android) and responsive layouts.
• Good understanding of UX principles, information architecture and user-centred design.
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive interfaces.
• High attention to detail with strong visual hierarchy, typography and spacing.
