Job description

  • Lead UX research and discovery activities to understand user needs, pain points, and adoption challenges within Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC).
  • Design intuitive user journeys, workflows, prototypes, and UX solutions that improve usability and enhance the experience for Designers and Engineers.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to align user experience with business objectives and platform capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, usability testing, and feedback loops to validate design decisions and improve user adoption.
  • Drive the transition from legacy Teamcenter Rich Client to Active Workspace (AWC) by promoting standard platform capabilities with minimal customization.
  • Identify adoption barriers, recommend change management strategies, and support organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Define and monitor UX metrics, adoption KPIs, usability improvements, and value realization to drive continuous enhancement.
  • Ensure UX solutions align with enterprise architecture, platform strategy, and long-term product roadmap., * Conduct user research and translate insights into intuitive user experiences.
  • Design user journeys, prototypes, and interaction models for Teamcenter Active Workspace.
  • Facilitate workshops, usability testing, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Drive user adoption and support the transition from Rich Client to Active Workspace.
  • Collaborate with business, architecture, and development teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Measure UX success through usability metrics, adoption indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in UX Design, UX Research, or User Experience Consulting for complex enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) and a strong understanding of Teamcenter Rich Client migration and user adoption.
  • Expertise in User Research, User Journey Mapping, Personas, Wireframing, Prototyping, Usability Testing, and Interaction Design.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and Change Management teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise UX principles, platform strategy, user adoption, and organizational change management.
  • Experience defining UX metrics, adoption KPIs, usability improvements, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design, Information Science, Engineering, Psychology, or a related discipline.
