Who are we?

The Tech Advisory Team is a Technology & Architecture Consulting Practice within AI & Analytics organisation. We support engagements across all client industry verticals.

Our unique team engages with C-level executives, and senior stakeholders, to translate strategy and vision into digital architecture journeys, across modern technology estates, specialising in Enterprise Data, Automation and Industrialisation, and Cloud (Re)Architecture.

What will you do?

You will be playing a critical role in achieving business objectives. You will be part of the team working closely with our business leaders and developing relationships with senior stakeholders (often C-level). You will be responsible for the client engagement success from solutioning through delivery.

You will also be focused on growing our business by providing innovative solutions and adding a real value to our clients. In particular we are seeking Data Architects experienced in Cloud Transformation engagements. Your key responsibilities will be:

· Design data models and metadata systems and help chief data architects to interpret business needs

· Provide oversight and advice to other data architects who are undertaking the design of data models and support the management of data dictionaries

· Make sure that your teams are working to the standards set for the organisation by the chief data architect

· Work with technical architects to make sure that an organisation’s systems are designed in accordance with the appropriate data architecture

· Undertake design, support and provide guidance for the upgrade, management, de-commission and archive of data in compliance with data policy

· Provide input into data dictionaries

· Drive solutioning for complex deals involving multiple service lines and domains as part of RFI, RFP and informal deal processes, leading a cross functional team of service line experts drawn from their respective domains to drive alignment of solution deliverables to client objectives

· Build relationships and credibility with clients during the sales cycle

· Develop business case and collaterals for Transformational Initiatives

· Define solution vision and direction building on synergies and benefits across service lines and technologies

· Envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client

· Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries

· Drive structured deals by providing consultation to key clients in defining or designing business processes, functions and technology journeys

· Research, identify and internally market enabling technologies based on client requirements assisting clients through their journey from ideation to execution creating win-win solution

· Define solution vision and direction building on synergies and benefits across service lines and technologies

· Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients’ existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions

· Guide clients on change management and risk management as part of the deal process

· Participate, and where necessary lead, in governance meetings to ensure that the risks and mitigation steps are identified and implemented

· Foster an innovative culture within the team

· Understand the client’s requirements, pain points and arrive at a customized solution by rightly positioning assets

· Collaborate with technology groups and other alliances to bring best practices on various technologies and tools

· Participate in partner forums and evangelizing technology capabilities

· Relevant experience from an IT or management consultancy

· Solid experience in complex deal solutioning and running structured deals with proven track record in complex delivery

· Experience in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives

· Strong knowledge of information systems from a holistic perspective (key technologies and limitations, systems modelling and enterprise frameworks)

· Experience of providing technology leadership in complex projects and programmes

· Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skill - both oral and written

· A track record of developing creative solutions

· Highly developed critical thinking, interpretative and analytical skills

· Positive, determined, resilient, confident and resourceful in the face of challenges

· Flexibility to travel across the UK and (occasionally) further.

Expertise or exposure to the following skillset

AWS Glue and Data Catalog, EMR, Athena, S3, Redshift / RDS, Kafka/Spark, AWS Security, IAM
