Job description

  • Maintain broadcast and audiovisual infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and production systems.
  • Support live event broadcast control rooms.
  • Maintain IP routing, switching, and broadcast network equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades., Washington, DC (Department of State Headquarters and Annex 5). This position is primarily on-site supporting broadcast infrastructure, IT systems, and live production technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Broadcast Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional broadcast infrastructure or IT systems experience.
  • Experience with SMPTE standards, TCP/IP networking, broadcast equipment, digital video systems, and systems integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and systems maintenance skills., * Experience supporting federal government broadcast environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise audiovisual systems and cloud infrastructure.
