Job description

Maintain broadcast and audiovisual infrastructure.
Troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and production systems.
Support live event broadcast control rooms.
Maintain IP routing, switching, and broadcast network equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades., Washington, DC (Department of State Headquarters and Annex 5). This position is primarily on-site supporting broadcast infrastructure, IT systems, and live production technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Broadcast Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of professional broadcast infrastructure or IT systems experience.
Experience with SMPTE standards, TCP/IP networking, broadcast equipment, digital video systems, and systems integration.
Strong troubleshooting and systems maintenance skills., * Experience supporting federal government broadcast environments.
Knowledge of enterprise audiovisual systems and cloud infrastructure.
