Job description

This is an executive level opportunity for a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, the engineering organization, AI initiatives, and product architecture for a growing enterprise SaaS company. The company serves Fortune 500 customers and operates in the marketing technology and channel marketing space. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands on technology executive with a track record of scaling engineering organizations and delivering AI enabled software solutions., The CTO will own the company’s technology vision and engineering organization, leading teams across engineering, architecture, AI and machine learning, DevOps, quality assurance, consulting, and project management, spanning more than 50 professionals. This role will define enterprise architecture strategy, modernize legacy platforms, reduce technical debt, and design scalable, secure, cloud native SaaS platforms. The CTO will also drive adoption of modern AI technologies, including large language models, tokenization, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, vector databases, GPUs, and cloud AI infrastructure, to strengthen product innovation, operational efficiency, and customer value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 20+ years of technology leadership experience within enterprise software, SaaS, MarTech, or channel marketing platforms
  • Proven success managing organizations of 50+ professionals across Engineering, Architecture, AI/ML, DevOps, Quality Assurance, Consulting, and Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to drive product innovation, operational efficiency, and customer value
  • Working knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, tokenization, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, GPUs, cloud AI infrastructure, and AI software stacks
  • Experience evaluating enterprise architectures and designing scalable, secure, cloud native SaaS platforms
  • Proven ability to define technology strategy, modernize legacy platforms, reduce technical debt, and execute engineering roadmaps
  • Background developing enterprise SaaS applications serving Fortune 500 customers
  • Strong executive leadership, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Experience with MarTech, Through Channel Marketing Automation (TCMA), Co-op Fund Management, Market Development Funds (MDF), SPIFFs, Partner Relationship Management (PRM), incentives, rebates, or channel marketing solutions
