Job description

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure functionality and security

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network compatibility and efficiency
  • Implement network security measures to protect data and systems
  • Oversee the installation of hardware and software components
  • Develop and maintain network documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university or

  • three to five years related experience in Medicare contracting, provider relations, provider servicing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Proven experience as a Network Manager or similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, office procedures, and medical records systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This position serves the Central Florida area - you must be based in that area. 50% local travel to visit current and potential network providers will be required. Out of state candidates will not be considered.

We are looking for someone who has worked for a health plan, negotiated contracts, and managed provider relationships. You need to understand Medicare Advantage guidelines and protocols.

Position Summary Primary responsibility includes negotiations of physician/provider contracts and ongoing education / service to the physician / provider network in assigned market areas. Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with the health plan’s network of physicians, groups, hospitals, and ancillary providers.
