Job description

The Town of Sandwich, MA has an opening for a 40 hr/wk GIS Coordinator position under the general supervision of the Town Engineer.

· Position provides responsible professional, technical, and varied work in management of the Town’s Geographic Information System (GIS).

· Work duties include GIS data collection, processing, maintenance and coordination between Town departments.

· Prepares maps to support department and Town projects and performs a wide range of other engineering and administrative functions for the department.

Requirements

· An Associate’s degree with a focus in geospatial analysis, cartography, geography or civil engineering and a minimum of two years related experience preferred or any equivalent combination. Experience utilizing ESRI ArcGIS Pro is required and experience with Spatial Analyst is strongly preferred and Autodesk Civil 3D desirable.
