Job description

As member of the Product Security Incident Response Team, you:

  • are interfacing between reporters of (potential) security vulnerabilities in NXP products on the one hand, and internal stakeholders on the other hand
  • ensure that Incident Response Core Teams (IRCT) are set up to handle new cases
  • keep track of open cases and support the IRCTs as needed
  • support the other PSIRT team members in the continuous improvement of NXP’s incident handling processesManage the PSIRT secretariate

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Security or Mathematics
  • Strong social skills
  • Analytical, flexible and resilient
  • Good understanding of embedded systems, hardware and software and the security thereof; ability to quickly learn where neededFluent in English

The following would be a plus:

  • Experience in working in an emergency response team or crisis team
  • Experience in working in international organizations over multiple time zones

Generic Job Description (not Job Level specific): The SW System Engineer / Architect is responsible for assuring all attributes of the SW including OS, Applications, Embedded FW are defined, architected, implemented, and validated via FPGA or Emulation Platforms prior to Si tape out. Then the SW is ported to the HW reference and development boards and validated at the sub-system and system level to assure the product meets the market requirements. This includes mapping the target market KPI’s to the system solution to assure compliance to product targets.
