Job description
Efficiently managing your own time and allocating and managing staff to ensure clients are properly serviced and IT Assurance work is completed to a high quality and in a timely manner.
Ensuring IT Assurance work complies with the firm’s audit methodologies.
Managing all stages of IT Assurance assignments and keeping the IT Assurance Director and relevant Partners appraised of progress and findings.
Identifying and understanding key IT risks and controls relevant to clients based on experience and knowledge of best practice and any regulatory requirements.
Being able to recommend appropriate solutions to risk and control issues identified in IT Assurance work and communicate and agree these with clients effectively.
Working effectively with external audit and internal audit teams to ensure that IT Assurance work is completed in accordance with their needs and timelines.
Producing and finalising scopes, working papers and reports that are suitable for review by the IT Assurance Director and relevant Partners.
Managing IT Assurance staff, providing on the job training and reviewing their work; and

IT change and project management.
IT infrastructure
Data quality and management information
ETL controls
Business continuity / disaster recovery
Compliance with GDPR
IT controls of service organisations
Educated to degree level.
CISA qualified.
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a senior IT audit role.
Some knowledge and experience of working with clients in the sectors served, including Financial Services.
Technically capable with an understanding of a broad range of IT technologies.
Experience of client relationship management and proven communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
