Job description

We are searching for problem solvers who’s always look to iterate, improve, simplify. The designer will be joining a Bank’s Digital Transformation .

The UX Designer will be responsible for delivering interaction design and IA fully in line with user needs and business requirements.

The designer will be responsible designing, testing, refining and iterating and optimising the user experience for new propositions, in addition to updating existing propositions in line with best practice utilising industry-leading ‘Agile’ methodologies.

The UX designer will be expected to advocate the needs and requirements of the user throughout the product design lifecycle, and drive a number of tactical improvements., * _Developing wireframes and customer journey maps to support definition of user experience, engaging with stakeholders

  • _Developing clickable prototypes/concept designs to support stakeholder engagement and illustrate early design thinking and usability testing

  • _Deliver interaction design and IA fully in line with user and business requirements

  • _Undertake design activity to define best in class channel propositions and services following user centered design techniques and industry best practice

  • _Conduct user research where/when needed, develop digital strategies, undertake all aspects of design activity from concept to customer testing to produce deliverables including initial sketches, wireframes, clickable prototypes, hi fi screen designs in line with product owners.

  • _UX designer will need engage stakeholders to in order to ensure the most rapid and efficient development of digital requirements and readiness of the business to adopt.

  • _Support the banks digital ambitions across all channels and devices

  • _The designer will need to be flexible and to understand the bigger picture by working with global and local standards and branding to ensure consistency, collaborating with subject experts, factoring in compliance and legal considerations, understanding regional differences, and reusing designs where applicable.

  • _Great communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues

Requirements

  • _A solid understanding of UCD, a full understanding of an end to end UX / UI process

o Experience Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to concept and produce high quality, detailed deliverables that are consistent with the brief and the brand (e.g. concepts, ideation, mock -ups, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, journeys, personas, user journey mapping etc.)

o The ability to think like a user, understand the issues like a developer and possess a head for the commercial reality of a piece of work.

o Strategic Thinking - able to demonstrate a broad-based view of business issues, and an understanding of their wider implications and long-term impact.

  • _Strong IA Skills & work flows

  • _Knowledge of design and design process in a financial environment, broad knowledge of Commercial Banking products and Commercial Banking Digital channels is very useful

o Experience of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate UCD techniques and tools to ensure and measure success ( Transactional Banking - would be a plus), * _High levels of resilience and self motivation

  • _A distinct and refined visual design sense, with strong product instincts.

  • _The agility to go from strategy to wireframe to mockup to code in a short course of time.

  • _Interest in reimagining what a bank can look like, both from the inside and out.

  • _A diverse background that you can reference for a fresh perspective on this problem set At HClient, you’ll work on everything from user-facing products that serve to refresh existing bank services, to redesigning existing solutions in markets across the world.

  • _Great with interacting with multiple stakeholders in order to ensure the most rapid and efficient development of digital requirements and readiness of the business to adopt

  • _Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. proven UX and Design practice

  • _A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customer

  • _A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement chang

  • _A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and other

  • _A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
