Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect for this position will lead initiatives using project management best practices and industry architecture frameworks. The Enterprise Architect leads design efforts, defines end-to-end architectures, oversees and performs research studies and presentations that include recommendations, and instructions for proposed implementations; formulating logical descriptions of problems; and recommending optimum solutions. The Enterprise Architect works with other IT groups in defining architectures, within projects that cross functional agency systems. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Enterprise Architect Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
• IT System Alignment with Business Portfolio and Goals.
• IT System Alignment with Technology and Infrastructure.
• Experience with maintaining Technology Registry/Asset Management and Definitive Media Library (DML) Repositories.
• Review future initiatives and projects architecture and Technology assessments to ensure proper Enterprise Architecture (EA) Review/Governance.
• Plays a critical role in translating business strategy into technical strategy and defines end-to-end technology architectures that support the strategy.
• Evaluates current and future solutions, applications, technologies and establish overall requirements and planning objectives.
• Manage/maintain EA Governance processes (e.g. Architecture Review Board) and models those processes using BPMN.
• Ability to create cloud base architectural patterns and solutions at an enterprise level.
• Prepare As-Is, To Be, Gap analysis, and Roadmap Models.
• Skill in analysis and interpretation of large, complex IT/technology products and services
• Provides the options in the determination and implementation of architectural solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure
• Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of others. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, peers, staff and others
• Experience with Sparx EA Product Stack.
• Experience with SCRUM, Jira, SharePoint.
• Experience with Modeling frameworks DODAF, UML, etc…
• Experience with SQL (write complex queries) and SQL Server maintenance.
• Experience with VBScript for automation implementations.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, 10+ years of IT Experience
• Secret Clearance (IT II can be considered)., * Azure: 1 year (Preferred)
• AWS: 1 year (Preferred)
• APIs: 4 years (Preferred)
